A spectacular scene showing Jacques Andrieux's Spitfire during a train attack in 1944. The plane, a Spitfire MKV, with a swollen engine and trimmed wings was specially designed for low-altitude attacks. This kind of mission was feared because the train convoys were powerfully defended by 20 mm guns on quadruple mountings. Benjamin Freudenthal.
