Pilot's Station was born on October 1, 1991 from a practiced but unfulfilled passion for aeronautics. Indeed, once left the cockpit and its fragrances of glycol, the tarmac saturated with 100LL or the hangar with its scents of Duraluminium. Nothing, except recovery, made it possible to recreate this atmosphere of the squadron bar in other places. Pilot's Station wanted to respond to a decorative and playful expectation of actors, spectators and fans, heavier than air.
The company started out in a 15m² garage box in the Bordeaux suburbs and since 1993 it has been a 400m² warehouse that barely provided for the company's storage needs. Located in Mérignac, 1000m from the runway entrance to Bordeaux International Airport and the Dassault factory where the Rafale and Falcon families are assembled.
This site, the surface of which no longer met our needs, so we moved to 3 Avenue Gustave Eiffel (even closer to Dassault Aviation) since July 2007, for a site of 2000m2, which allows us to meet the expectations of our clients.
Pilot's Station Since January 1998, it has also been a 200m² bookstore store dedicated to the public, in the unique site of the Air and Space Museum at Le Bourget (93) on the northern outskirts of Paris.
Our current concession was interrupted and our company was not selected following the call for tenders that followed.
We therefore left this site since the end of February 2007 where we have been happy to be part of your passions for the past 9 years.
